Capacity and nutrient-removal upgrade to a regional treatment plant that stayed fully in service throughout construction.
The problem
Forty years of undocumented modifications. The record drawings and the plant on the ground had drifted badly apart.
What we did
Terrestrial laser scanning of the entire process yard produced a point cloud that became the design base. Every tie-in was verified against measured reality before it was drawn.
Outcome
Zero field conflicts on process piping tie-ins, and no interruption to plant operations across a nineteen-month construction period.
